Share Your Music, Inc. is a non-profit organization empowering underserved children with the universal language of music. Our team is made up of passionate individuals who believe in the power of music to transform lives. We provide fundraising concerts, music education programs, and community outreach for underserved children.

Our goal is to enhance the well-being of underserved children worldwide by harnessing the experience and passion of musicians, artists, and educators, uniting in a symphony of support, education, and mentorship.

Hold Fundraising Concerts
Our volunteer musicians will stage 2-3 annual concerts to raise funds for causes related to providing educational resources and supplies for underserved children. Performances will occur in diverse settings, including public spaces, concert halls, schools, and government offices. Through this, we empower our young musicians and their mentors to participate actively in community outreach and social responsibility.
Provide Educational Resources
Deliver weekly Zoom or in-person lessons, offering free or affordable access to music education, facilitate tours, auditions, workshops, and guest speaker sessions to nurture and inspire a passion for music.
Mentor through Partnerships and Funding
Foster partnerships with other non-profit organizations or companies sharing similar visions. Award scholarships to deserving students, supporting and mentoring them toward realizing their musical aspirations.

What are your main lines of services?We encourage musicians to volunteer, perform, fundraise and educate through workshops, seminars and Zoom lessons, and to provide mentorship to future aspiring music and non-music related students

Who are your volunteers and mentors?Our volunteers are well trained vocalists and classical musicians who are committed in sharing their musical talents with the community Our mentors are collegiate and professional musicians

How much does it cost for each lesson?Our lessons are provided as scholarships to students at no cost. This is made possible by our student volunteers’ generous donation of their talents

Can I donate to share your music?You can donate by clicking the “donate” button in the donate and volunteer tab. Once you click, you will be directed to credit card section or a zelle section

What happens during the tutoring session?You will be meeting one-on-one with your tutor for 30 minutes session

Where does the tutoring session happen?Our tutoring sessions are virtual

When does the session happen?Most lessons are scheduled on thursdays or fridays afternoons depending on the availability of each tutor

What are your qualifications for becoming a tutor?You can e-mail us a resume, a bio or description of your past experience. We value each volunteer!

How do I sign up for a session?You can go to “our services” page then sign up for a lesson on the “zoom lessons” section

Do you teach how to read music?Part of conservatory style training includes sight reading but we would like to receive a student’s level of sight reading before the first lesson

How old do I have to be to sign up?Minimum age to sign up is eight(8) years old with the parental consent
