Working with Isaac has been an absolute joy. He brings such admirable focus, curiosity, and discipline to every session, always eager to grow and deepen his musical expression. His light lyric baritone voice is not only charming and vibrant but also filled with warmth and sincerity, shaped by beautiful phrasing and a naturally expressive timbre. It's been truly rewarding to witness his musical journey and to see his artistry blossom with each step. I see so much promise in his voice and a bright, exciting future ahead of him in the world of classical music. Isaac's generosity of spirit and collaborative nature make him a genuine inspiration to those around him and a real delight to teach and work with!”

Isaac is not only an accomplished baritone and musician, but also a thoughtful scholar and an emerging leader with the rare ability to bring people together through a combination of empathy, wit, and vision. This past summer, I invited Isaac to work with me as a paid intern on a professional opera production,The Pirates of Penzance, where he assisted the Stage Director and Artistic Director. The scope of his work exposed him to the full range of operatic production—from early conceptualization and design to final performance execution.
What stood out most was Isaac’s ability to navigate a high-pressure, resource-constrained environment with calm focus, creativity, and professionalism. He displayed exceptional problem-solving skills, time management, and a collaborative spirit that elevated the entire team. It is exceedingly rare to find someone of his age who can contribute so meaningfully to both the artistic and logistical dimensions of a complex production.”

Upon learning that there is no after school program that provides vocal training or coaching at Songcatchers, Isaac shared his vision with me about helping others build the musical foundation he had the privilege of building: one grounded in music theory, ear training, sight reading, diction, etc.-a conservatory style of music education. I was excited at the prospect of offering individual voice lessons for the first time in our 45-year history. Sincе Isaac joined Songcatchers in 2023, he has not only fulfilled his commitment but also exceeded our expectations in so many ways and has devoted more than 500 hours to us in a year. Isaac's key leadership role at Songcatchers includes his role as a keen advocate and ambassador of our Songcatchers community without hesitation. We have never had another student volunteer who has had this type of impact on Songcatchers or who was able to help us raise money the way Isaac has.”

We want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your (Share Your Music, Inc.) generosity which has made it possible to purchase tools for the MODECO workshop, a wonderful project of our foundation that seeks to teach young girls from underprivileged backgrounds the art of sewing, while also sharing with them the message of the Gospel. We have also made a significant progress on the brand new space where we will continue offering classes —a place that will be a great blessing for continuing to educate and build lives through learning and the Word of God. We expect to complete this space by the end of this year.”

All of the training with Isaac at Songcatchers has boosted my daughter's confidence in and out of Songcatchers. She now sings in pop up events that are self-organized; performs in school talent shows; Performs in recitals. Additionally, she has been applying her leadership skills and confidence to other areas in her life and recently won her district’s (New Rochelle, NY) Art competition! I could not be happier as I continue to look forward to her future achievements.”

Isaac has demonstrated remarkable leadership as a volunteer teacher, mentor, and curriculum developer. He has curated and implemented the Share Your Music (SYM) Vocal and Music Enrichment Program to teach K-8th grade students with engaging and age-appropriate activities. His dedication to our students is evident in the enthusiasm and participation he inspires in his classes. Isaac not only teaches new techniques and skills in music but also fosters an environment conducive to developing critical leadership within classes to help students support one another both in and outside of the classroom.”
