

Nicolò Sbuelz Bio
Nicolò Sbuelz is currently an Italian Diction Coach, as well as Staff Music Coach for the Lindemann Young Artist Development Program, at The Metropolitan Opera. Devoted educator, Nicolò joined The Juilliard School’s Vocal Arts College and Pre college faculty in 2021 after teaching at Manhattan School of Music for several years. He is a pianist, opera coach, and assistant conductor from Udine, Italy. Based in New York City.
Previously, he has worked with Teatro alla Scala, Opéra National de Lyon, Houston Grand Opera, San Francisco Opera, Charleston Opera Theater, Sarasota Opera, Opera Theater of Saint Louis, and Santa Fe Opera. As a coach, he has been on faculty at several programs, such as Wolf Trap Opera, Calgary Opera, Maryland Opera Studio, Music Academy of the West, Palm Beach Opera, and joined the Aspen Music Festival in 2022 after being a coaching fellow in 2015.
Among other institutions, Nicolò is a graduate of the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala and the Merola Opera Program in San Francisco, California.
Beside his passion for classical music and opera, Nicolò loves theater and performance arts at large and serves on the board of directors of TheaterLab, a small space for experimental theater in New York City’s Garment District.
