

Violet Paris Hilmer Bio
Violet Paris studies with Lorraine Nubar at Juilliard Pre-College and Mary Nessinger at the Special Music School. In 2024, she placed first in both the Classical Singer High School Division and the Philadelphia Schmidt Vocal Competition. That same year, she won the Special Music Concerto Competition with her performance of "The Bell Song" from Lakmé by Léo Delibes.

In the summer of 2023, Violet represented the Tanglewood Young Artist Voice Program at Tanglewood on Parade, performing Margaret Bonds What Lips My Lips Have Kissed. She was awarded the George and Nora London Foundation for Singers merit scholarship in both 2023 and 2024.

Violet made her debut with New York City Opera, creating the role of Young Micòl in the world premiere of Ricky Ian Gordon’s The Garden of the Finzi-Continis. She is also a 2025 YoungArts Winner in Classical Voice.

Starting in the fall of 2025, Violet will be attending Harvard University and the New England Conservatory through her dual-degree program.
